Zorkmade’s first approach to Urban Art took place during high school, in the middle 90′s, when he was charmed by tags and trow-ups found in his hometown. Influenced by many Italian writers, he started experimenting new letterings, designs, geometrical forms but also realistic characters and cartoons. After that, stylistically influenced by German and Swiss schools and above all by artists such as Daim, Seak,Toast and Sweet, he decided to work on 3D lettering based on design techniques. After his first steps in the art of writing, Zorkmade went to Rome to study illustration and comics at the ‘Roman School of Comics’, where he also worked as a colourist for several illustrators.
